All right, I've just worked out an all-new method to produce gorgeous full-color archival art prints with digital color!  Unlike my previous efforts to "tint" or "colorize" a marker piece, in this process I actually make a digital painting in layers both above and below the original drawing to produce something new.

I've added an "Art & Print" package to my store, as well as giclee prints that will be available by themselves- but only until next Friday!  By then, who knows what I'll be up to?  Check it out at andysdames.bigcartel.com

Sounds like this process is easier and takes less time. Am I right?

Well, it takes more time than my previous efforts to add color to a gray piece, but it takes less time than an all-out acrylic painting. Hopefully I can refine this method further to make it better and faster.

Lots of different directional forces in her various body parts as she lies quite akimbo awaiting the doubtless use of the goodies in the foreground. I especially like the way her arms are being pulled one way while her boobs are "pulling" in another way. Some visceral boob physics in play, heavy objects at rest and all that. Nice perspective overall, from the foreground tools back to her flailing legs and the foreboding doorway, and back again. One might call this piece "Primed Odalisque", or some such, the "surprised" look on her face notwithstanding!

I'm glad these things were noticeable! I actually needed to "get my bearings" after a few days of feeling rough last week. So, I decided to go back to fundamentals and put most of my effort into setting up a strong pose and composition with this one, and hopefully it worked.
