Content

As some of you may have heard, Patreon is deactivating accounts that don't comply with their terms of service.  To be clear, I have no problem with that.  It belongs to them, they have to cover their own concerns, and I'm grateful to be able to use the platform.  But, I need to get this page into compliance before it gets turned off.  Not to worry, you'll still have access to all the same content.  I just need to move most of the images off of my Patreon page.  They're all still available in the archive, of course, and public pieces can still be found at my Tumblr and Twitter pages.  Explicit exclusives will still be in the same place, accessible to patrons, as they've always been.  Sorry if it looks like a sudden change, but I just need to tweak this so the show can go on, and I'm starting immediately.  Thanks, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.

Edit: It's going to take a long time to edit all of my posts on here to make them acceptable, so I'll probably delete the really old stuff, if you guys don't mind- so I can use that time to get on with making art.  I doubt anyone really scrolls back more than a year or so on here anyway.  Again, the archives will be unchanged, you'll still have access to everything, and the free art is still all on my Tumblr and Twitter pages.

Got it! Good luck! I'd seen where a couple of folks have already been shutdown. So this is likely a wise move.

Thanks, Molly! It's my own fault for getting complacent, I should've fixed it earlier. No worries though, I think, as long as I get on it now.

Yeah, i know Sabu and other adult artists been "hit" in the same way by Patreon as well

andysdames

Yes, so I think if I don't get it taken care of now, I'm pretty much asking for it. No problem, though!

I wonder where the artists that don't have the facilities that you do to mitigate this change will go for a provider?

Betting Patreon will be losing a lot of business doing this.

andysdames

Could be. I'm hoping it's really just more of a matter of adjusting to the policy, though. I cant really blame Patreon too much, they've actually fought pretty hard to keep adult artists afloat, from what I understand- such as getting Paypal on board. I think they're trying to find a balance between avoiding censorship while still covering their own butts, which is tough. We'll just have to see how it goes.

Well, I'm not sure anyone really needs to "go" anywhere, it's more about how they present their stuff, if I understand this correctly. Other artists who were more pro-active than me already got their stuff sorted out, and seem to be doing fine, I think. So hopefully it's not as big a deal as it seems.

Well, good to see you're still here, apparently your quick action worked! Personally I think the way you handled it here is very sharp on your part, using your introductory illustrations of the Dames to let everyone know at a glance who is featured, then where the piece can be found...slick marketing solution there indeed! And the exclusive "key" says it all. In fact, as much as many folks like emojis, etc., seeing the little illustrations may even attract more folks, curious about what's behind the "Free Art Update" panel...keeping it simple, good move. And what's a couple of extra clicks among true fans to see the final product, eh? We know how to get to the good stuff. Nice save, my friend, nice save!

Thanks! I was actually fairly pleased with how the re-arrangement worked out, as I was going for a simple, clean approach. So far nobody has left since I switched it all over, so we're looking good so far!
