Reinstalled, the pop-up asking for write permission never comes up, but it downloads just fine. I do have permission for media and video in settings now (although they're denied by default.) Seems like it's asking for all pop-ups when you open setting in the app. (get a storage notification, and then rating, and a pop-up asking for notifications access) All in all, seems to be working.

A really cool feature that would be cool to see implemented. Would be that of swiping left and right when you are viewing an image and it's description to go to the next image in the gallery without having to go back and tap again.
