Have you missed my Mega Posts? We're back! This time featuring Cidni Gian, sponsored by Louie Torres.

This is the first time I've worked on a maternity shoot that was a GIFT from a previous model! You may remember him from my BLOOM series! They've always been supportive of my work, and this time they wanted to gift their friend with this experience! I'm always SO appreciative of my sponsors. Y'all are changing people's lives!

Not sure if you know this, but most of my bookings are word of mouth. I don't really advertise unless I have a major project going on. The next one will be announced LATER THIS MONTH!

Let's talk about our Space Goddess, Cidni Gian! As soon as she walked into the room, we instantly connected. From colors to art style, we just flowed. And being creatively in sync, she liked any suggestion I threw her way... all except one! But I'll save that mystery for later in the post! ;-)

I combined my eclectic art style with some Afro-Futurism I explored during the production of the movie "Souls" by Malakai. I think it conveyed the energy and strength she demonstrated throughout the process.

Let's get this out of the way...she's stunning! She had that motherly glow, and the father was watching the entire process! He was super supportive, we watched the baby kick together, and he took plenty of behind the scenes photos!

Of course working with a mother who is 8 months along has it's challenges. Her stamina came with a time limit, which meant I adjusted the art style based on her energy. By the time we got to her face, she let me know she was ready to photograph!

Which is why you see her face unpainted (by me), minus the makeup she applied when she arrived. I think I only contributed to the Ombre lip, but otherwise that's ALL HER. And honestly? She looks amazing, so I don't think either of us have regrets.

She borrowed a scarf and a bracelet for the photoshoot, so you may recognize them! The rest of the jewelry is hers. <3

And that's it for now! What did you think of the body painting? I hope it brightened your day!

Love,

Brandon
