Snowpocalypse Now (Patreon)

Your eyes aren't deceiving you! Brooke is actually standing in the snow. During a storm that stranded us on a mountain overnight! A Winter Wonderland, only it's nearly Summer.

How did this happen? Well it all started when my long time friend of nearly 20 years mentioned she wanted to be painted. She even applied to be in Tarot, but was not able to travel for the project.

Fast forward to our trip to Colorado with Best for his CT Scan (and a little vacation on top of it). He's been having health issues for the last year, so we're getting it taken care of there. The health care is better, and his family has been helping him through much of the process.

I mentioned to her that I was starting a new project called Supernova, so I'd be down to explore that art style together. We made plans to meet, had a lovely day in Boulder, then drove up the mountain. We made great art, shared laughs, but the snow was not subtle.

After the session was finished, we joked that it would be funny if we did a couple of photos outdoors. I wasn't super serious, since my Camera died, but Brooke said "You could always borrow mine". Oh my!
