 Hey all! Here's the finished version of the Falco pinup. I went with a BG I could imagine being inside a version of the Great Fox and had a lot of fun pushing around paint on this one.

Next pinup will be Luxray, so I'll get some sketches going for that soon soon.

Hmm.. Gonna be hard to describe in text, but basically you just need a mostly hard-edged brushed with pressure sensitivity and some paint brush texture at the "tip" of the stroke. It's commonly called an oil brush in a lot of software. You need to focus on getting the values right first (the black/white levels) and mostly make the textured marks as light is transitioning into shadow. You don't want to blend tooo much because it looks super unnatural. Also use air brushes extreeeemely infrequently. That's a common mistake of new digital painters because it makes shading seem easy. That's about all the advice I can give in text
