Nick random warmup sketch (Patreon)

Been having a lot of drawing nerves lately.. More than usual. I'm trying to get comfortable with just trying risky drawings, styles, and themes that I don't normally work with.

Here I tried a totally different way of sketching that involves a kind of japanese ink brush, and worked as fast as I could. I want to get more comfortable just .. Producing work, even if it's not totally finished. 

I think it might be more fun for you guys to see as well as help me improve rapidly, so I'll try to keep it up. Red Savarin update is coming tomorrow! May not be 100% finished, but I'll do what I can for him. See you all soon!
