Yian Garuga (Patreon)

Ok NOW I'm excited for MHW: Iceborn! I mean I was going to get it anyways, but they're bringing in some really cool monsters from previous games.

Might actually paint this piece! He's a special monster to me. There was a quest called 'Elegy for a Lone Wolf' and you had to hunt a wounded Garuga. He was unique from other Garuga, missing an ear with a scarred beak from surviving multiple previous hunts. But just because he's wounded doesn't mean, it just means he's angry.

There's a Deviant version of him in MHGU called the 'Dead Eye Garuga', with very similar lore. This time he was missing an eye. These guys are tricky and quite resilient, as there armor you make from them has a resistance to ALL elements.
