DnD Concept - Minotaur Forge Cleric (Patreon)

 Bit of personal art in between commissions, I like to think of back up character concepts for DnD games that I'm in. This one is a  forge cleric minotaur! 

 I added the blues as I felt I was getting a bit too monochrome. I was inspired by hindu practices of sacred powders and chalks! 

Thinking how I could depict forge domain clerics outside of smithing, I thought I could depict using those kind of chalks to channel the divine energy into items more efficiently. So with that in mind, I tried making the armour and weapons look like theyve been stained with a lot of chalk with fresh coats applied, gathering in common areas like the hands, the handles and the chalk bag.

 I also tried to make the armor look like a stylised blacksmith outfit, included a forging hammer attached to the shield, which I hope gives the forging theme some more cohesion.
