Randi and Moroza were like many girls on the continent plucked from obscurity because of a rare gene that would change their bodies and souls into Amazonian warriors. They would become part of the Order of the Long Blade--protectors of the realm--if they could survive the trials.

During their training, Randi and Moroza had never gotten along, and perhaps that is why the sisters paired them together for their first hunt. Randi was ambitious, chaotic, and some might say fool-hearty, while Moroza was scholarly, meek, and calculating. It didn't help that Moroza was rarity even among the Order, for it seldom heard that an ice fae would carry the gene. While this meant she had access to broader magic, the older Knights feared she would never reach the necessary physical aptitudes required to survive.

This was all put to the test when Randi and Moroza stumbled upon a stone giant during their trials. The two found themselves fighting more with each other than their opponent, and they barely escaped with their lives.

Years would pass and though Randi never gave up her brazen attitude, nor Moroza her cautious gaze, they would gain a mutual respect. Maybe even compassion for each other. So when the two were out on a hunt and came across the very Stone Giant that had thwarted them so many years ago, they relished the opportunity to prove themselves. Moroza's magic had increased ten fold (as had her physique thankfully), and Randi's chaos had been honed into a blade's edge of fury. They subdued the monster with ease. Even the Stone Giant seemed impressed...
