News, July Mini-Animation Preview (Patreon)

Hi guys, time for an update!

With my June stuff nearly finished, I wanted to give a preview of something I've been working on quietly...

As you can see, the above images have a different look to them. This more stylized look is the result of doing a lot of things differently... from the models to the textures, and even the rendering. This cartoon style won't be an all-the-time thing, but gives me a lot more options for how I can present certain ideas and characters. It's kind of trading some realism for expressiveness. It's also a lot more render-efficient, which allows me to correct mistakes, or catch different angles almost seamlessly. For example...

This animation will have a (mostly) POV version and also a 3rd person version, both for the Magnifying Glass tier. I wouldn't really be able to do that so easily in my usual style.

Again, this isn't for everything. Many other things like Interdimensional Incompetence, etc, will be in my usual, more realistic style. 

Anyway, this animation is a simple idea I had. Angry mom enters her (18+) son's room, finds and crushes him. 

I think the backgrounds are a little too textured for a toon style, and this art-style is still a work-in-progress, but let me know what you think of the look of this first test animation so far!
