Hey all,

Wanted to give you all an update on where things are headed and what's happening!

For Live Action, I am moving into the territory of "Major" FX vids. For me, this doesn't necessarily mean super long, drawn out stuff, (and I think length is a bad parameter... I don't like filler, and you'll know that I sometimes cut too much and I don't always have the patience for story and suspense...) and I'm working on some of that. But mainly... Quality.

For example... The length of this week's filming was about 3x the usual, and my most expensive yet. We only worked on two clips, though, and one is only half finished. (That being the "scientist" idea I recently floated.) Mitzi and I discussed re-filming things if something goes wrong, costumes, filming in new locations, and taking things to the natural next level.

The bottom line, really, is that I'm looking at clips like "Shrinking Virus FX" and using that as a baseline for where things can go. You'll start seeing some results early this Spring, and I'm excited for the future.

This month will see a short FX edit from a previous shoot... More on that soon!

In animation news, Gnats part 2 is coming along well. I've upgraded the graphics a bit from the first one. It will be more of the abstract weirdness of part 1.

Work on my next Major Animation has started. It's still a long ways off, but I want to have a good chunk of it done before announcement. In the mean time, I'll have had a mini-animation every month so far this year. April won't have one, as I'll be in full production on this bigger animation. If it takes too long, I may do more minis in May or June, but we'll see.

As previously mentioned, Star Patrons have a "Shrunk in the Woods" director's cut this month too, which takes things out of pov for the stomp. 🙂

And that's it for now!
