Content

Patreon, for me, was about creating a growing archive of content for fans and supporters. If someone wanted to join for just one month, they'd have access to everything past and present. If they weren't interested in sticking around, that's okay! I still appreciated the initial pledge, and maybe they could join again later down the road for another huge chunk of content. I figured, those who wanted to offer support, engage in polls, and see my stuff as it was released, could stick around. And that's been amazing. You guys have kept me going!

But in some ways, animation, and other adult content is a tricky thing to maintain in this regard. It shouldn't feel like a store, but it sometimes does. It should be about giving rewards to supporters, and that should increase with the tier of support. Much of my "Legacy Animations" were posted for free, long before Patreon, when they were initially completed. Keeping an archive of higher-quality files, all in one place, is something I feel I've done well. Exclusive content, on the other hand, has not always gone so well, even though it was well-intentioned.

People share things. I'm happy that people want to see my work. I've never DMCA'd anyone. Never requested a take-down. Never so much as issued a warning... And yet, I still feel like a customer service representative for a corporation, and most of it doesn't even happen here. It's draining. Even so far as occasionally receiving threatening messages. It can be too much. Again, this has nothing to do with my actual supporters on here. You guys are always helpful, creative in your ideas, and supportive of what I'm trying to accomplish. I appreciate that to no end.

I recently made a post on here that my ultimate goal was to do this full time. Well, thanks to being in a very high-risk situation with my health, I got my wish, at least for the foreseeable future. It's not the way I wanted to go about it, but here I am, nonetheless. It's left me with some tough decisions. If I'm going to do this full time, then some things need to change. I rely on the income more than ever, but I don't want to act like a suit. It's not me. Adult art or not, I want to be an artist. And so, my first big decision is a scary one:

Going forward, the majority of my work will also be shared for free in a lower quality, and only after an early access period for Patreon.

At the same time, I'm looking for better ways to refresh and increase the value of my tiers, and looking into fair ways to make my upcoming monthly mini animations decided/directed by you. Whether it is by poll, or even one on one. I'm open to suggestions for how to go about this, too. (And I may need them!)

As a final thought: I want people to see my work, and support me if they wish to. And honestly, those are the only people that I want here. If that means that I will struggle, or have to up my game; then so be it.

Thanks for reading, and thank you for supporting my work!
