* Difficulty Selection (default is self-titled option)
* Changes to formulas well in progress, with the following complete:
> qi energies
> power levels/ranks
> stat-modifier capacity
> metric-modifier capacity
> a more universal power-scaling rate (10% compounded per rank)
* New Start/Character-Selection Screen
* 2 exclusive difficulty levels:
> BirthRight sets the difficulty multiplier at 0.16x -- (multiplies Lv and gains by 6.25x)
> SurvivalMode sets it at 10.00x -- effectively placing level and gains at 10%
* Encounters in the Gym, with a reduced frequency (still needs some fine tuning)
* Several new basic/non-NPC encounters started (combat enabled/tested, but not yet balanced):
> "Gym Goer" - in the Gym
> "RVH Student" - at Rivervalley High (Sue only)
> "Inmate" - at the new Prison area (Leona only)
> "Jogger" - the daytime counterpart to the Vampire encounters in the park...  ultimately this encounter will be expanded to include all the general park visitors/users
* TAUNT action in combat now awards significant END training, especially against stronger opponents

There's still quite a bit to do balance-wise, especially on lifts and throws, but combat seems pretty stable with these changes...
