Pinched my back yesterday and didn't feel much. Just rolled off couch and didn't think much of it. Few hours later just while walking, my back went 'nope' and then had a lovely view of the ceiling for next hour or so. @_@;


Meds have arrived and pushing through day, but am very uncomfortable sitting atm. (lying down relaxes, but sitting/standing compresses the spot of spine) 


So next comic page for this weekend is 80% done, but wasn't able to complete unfortunately. Hopefully this afternoon/evening can finish it up and send! Apologies for wait and hope you all are doing well ^^;

Have you tried inversion therapy? I love my inversion table and my quality of life is better than without it for sure. If you're just "hanging around" might as well do you some good lol sorry bad joke

Oh that sucks. I had that too a few times. If you want some tips: It usually means that you got close to squeezing a nerve and your muscles are flexing hard to protect it. And then they cramp and inflame. Warmth helps loosen the muscles! The faster you can get those muscles relaxed the better. Laying is best in the first days. But stretch your muscles as soon as you can. Rub them, get the blood flowing. They get weaker from all the relaxation and the weaker they are the quicker this type of injury happens. Some light movement excercises are the only way out of that weakness spiral. I didn't take that serious enough at first. Get well soon!

If you are able to try and use some heat and a cold compress on your back. I have had similar back issues and it definitely helps. Switch between the two and it should help make it less painful. Besides that all you can really do is stretch the muscle and relax. Please get well soon.

I've had the same thing happen to me twice and the pain is unbearable and I would not wish that on anyone. I hope for your speedy recovery.
