Story Schedule

Summary: Connor is livestock on a farm, and every day produces five or so unfertilized eggs, which the farm sells as food with their other products. But when the farm gets esteemed visitor, Dean Chambers, Dean chooses Connor as a bed-mate, and Connor has no choice but to go along with it. In the following days, Connor produces fertilized eggs, which are not sellable. Connor is relieved when Dean leaves the farm after a week, but is stuck with 35 fertilized eggs he does not know what to do with. The farmer also gives Connor hormones to double his egg output to make up for lost time, which makes it harder for Connor to lay his eggs in a timely manner. In consequence, his belly bloats up and the eggs grow, while waiting for their turn to exit his body. Even worse, Dean unexpectedly returns, again causing Connor’s eggs to become fertilized, and Dean isn’t too keen about letting Connor lay them. Contains: Male: belly expansion, pregnancy, egg laying, breast expansion, stuffing, and more.

Layers were human beings, men or women, who had the rare genetic mutation that allowed them to produce eggs.

Layers themselves were routinely kidnapped and traded on the black market. As such, many Layers kept their status a secret. Scarcely, Layers legally became deemed property—through the process in which a Layer consented to sell their person, usually to pay off a great debt or to pardon a loved one—after which the Layer could be sold and traded legally. This went on until the time that the Layer was granted freedom, which was usually when the Layer became old and stopped producing eggs.

Being that Layers went for billions of dollars when they were sold legally, it was extremely rare for an entity to own one.

Roscow’s farm had four.

Of course, some of them were not owned.

Aiden was under rent, so to speak. To free his parents from a substantial, and crippling, debt, Aiden was under contract to work for the farm for twenty years.

It wasn’t as bad as Aiden had thought it would be. The human livestock was treated humanely and given reasonable accommodation. Aiden was even allowed to interact with the other Layers throughout the day. His only real task was to stay healthy and keep his calcium intake up. He was dosed with induction hormone that ensured that he produced five eggs a day. As such, every five or so hours, Aiden squatted down and pulled down his pants over his nest. The labor was neither too difficult nor too painful.

He could usually tell when he was getting close. The small lump beneath his abdomen would start to bulge visibly. It would shift lower in his pelvis. Within the hour, he would feel the urge to push it out.

As Aiden was not sexually active (and not allowed to be), his eggs were unfertilized. Each egg was stark white, and about the size of a tennis ball. They went for thousands of dollars a piece. People ate them, stored them, displayed them—the eggs were also a popular item with medical researchers, because of the rejuvenating properties in the cells of their yolks.

Aiden saw them as little more than an annoyance. He hardly minded parting with them. At twenty, he didn’t have a sentimental bone in his body. Not that the eggs were even live things. They were just useless balls, as far as he knew.

It was intriguing to think that one Layer, if left to live freely—which was a rarity—could theoretically populate the world with an obscene amount of children. Aiden supposed that it was therefore probably for the best that Layers were so rare, and induction drugs, so regulated. Imagine if a single Layer was continuously fertilized for a few years. Even with just five eggs a day, the population would get completely out of control.

Aiden sat in the farm cafeteria that day at a table with Fred, Sarah, and Rebecca—each of them Layers like himself. The rest of the tables in the cafeteria were occupied by farm workers. The Layers munched their calcium-enriched, drug-infused meals, each of them wearing their plain gray sweatpants and long-sleeved white T-shirts. Pausing, Sarah lowered her fork and stood.

“Excuse me,” she said, cupping the lump low on her belly.

Aiden noticed the mound on Sarah’s abdomen made it look as though her egg was about the size of a fist. He wondered if she had been carrying it for too long, or if for some reason she produced eggs that were larger than his.

As Sarah walked off towards her quarters to lay her egg, the other three Layers continued to eat.

The double doors to the cafeteria opened, and Roscow himself entered the room. He drew the attention of the Layers and most of the workers, as he rarely made appearances at this location, let alone any of his other farms. The farmer was a stout man, with a wrinkled, ruddy face. He was dressed in his usual denims, and curiously, beside him stood a polished man wearing a suit.

The farmer’s guest was young, about his mid-twenties, and had an aloof air about him. His hair was sleek and black, and he seemed impeccably clean cut. His piercing eyes swept over the room, before seeming to focus on the table to Layers.

Fred sunk in his seat. “Is that Dean Chambers?” he said in a hushed whisper.

Aiden was not familiar with the name. As Rebecca bowed her head, and the workers whispered to each other, Aiden watched blankly as old Roscow led his guest about the expansive room.

“And this is where the tour ends,” said Roscow fondly. “I understand that you were interested in owning a location—”

“Not a location,” said Chambers smoothly.

Roscow blinked, seeming confused. “You know this business is not for sale.”

Chambers gave a grim smile. “And my ambitions aren’t nearly so lofty.”

Roscow seemed increasingly perplexed. “Then if I you don’t mind me asking—what can I do for you Mr. Chambers?”

Chambers smoothed down his crisp blazer. “It’s getting late, Mr. Roscow. We can discuss business in the morning. I’ll take a room, if you would be so kind. And perhaps the company of one of your Layers?” And he was looking straight at Aiden.

Feeling a jolt, Aiden quickly looked away. This couldn’t be what he thought it was. He kept his gaze focus on his plate, but he could still feel Chambers’s gaze on his head.

“Layer 9-6-C.”

Aiden stiffened when he heard the farmer call his number. He took in a deep breath, and pushed it out slowly. Rebecca gave his thigh a light pat. Aiden climbed to his feet.

The room went completely silent as Aiden walked to his farmer and his guest. Chambers was wearing an affable smile, but something is his eyes was cold.

“Lovely,” Chambers mused aloud. Aiden flinched as Chambers took his chin to observe his face.

“This is our newest stock,” Roscow grumbled, looking rather perturbed. “Young, but effective. Took us a while to get his weight up, but he’s been doing great.”

Aiden was average height, and slim, but nowhere near as bony as he had been when he had first been contracted to work on the farm. He reddened as he felt Chambers’s eyes trail along his body, to finally settle low on Aiden’s abdomen, which was just beginning to bulge with his fourth egg of the day.

“He will do,” said Chambers neutrally.

And there was nothing that Aiden could do about it. He was property, after all.

-

Aiden panted and stared at the ceiling, his face flushed, forehead beaded with sweat.

He had never been in the luxury suite before this week. He was used to his small quarters with the cement floor, the stray nest where he laid his eggs for collection, his lumpy bed, and his tiny bathroom with the metal basin in which he cleaned himself.

The suite was expansive. He could hardly believe he was still on the same farm. It had a massive bed that was comfortable and sumptuous, the carpet fluffy and soft. The connected bathroom had a shower and a hot tub. Just like Roscow himself, the external modesty of the farm concealed the riches hidden within it.

Aiden’s stomach tensed slightly, causing him to grimace. “I—I have to…” He looked at Chambers, who was sprawled naked beside him, his chest heaving, and the sheets pulled up to cover his naked groin. Chambers propped himself on his elbow and drew back his sweaty black hair. “By all means,” he said with a quirk of his lips. He seemed amused that Aiden would ask permission to lay.

Aiden scrambled out of the bed. Though he hadn’t taken the hormone to stimulate egg production since the day before, it stayed in one’s system for up to a month, after which things would start to taper.

He squatted down in the corner of the room, beside the other two eggs he had produced since his arrival in Chambers’s suite the night before. He bore down and pushed gently, following his training, making sure not to clench too much.

Once the egg had passed, he sighed, and ran his hand over his now-smooth belly. He got up, throwing a brief glance at the new egg, but then felt his body freeze.

Aiden’s breathing thinned. This egg was different. It was beige in color. That meant it was fertilized.

“Finished there?” Chambers called.

Aiden took in another deep breath. He pressed his lips and returned to the bed, where Chambers drew him into his lap and began to rub his hips.

Chambers was a selfish lover. Aiden had not anticipated that. Chambers was just as concerned about Aiden’s pleasure as he was about his own—if not moreso. It was strange.

Aiden grunted as Chambers shifted them slightly, positioning himself at Aiden’s opening. “Ready, little bird?”

Aiden nodded, though he wasn’t too fond of the nickname.

Aiden grunted out as Chambers pushed, and entered him again.

“Oh…” Chambers breathed. “You are perfect.”

-

Aiden stayed with Chambers there not for one day, but a whole week.

A week of eating, sleeping, and fucking.

By the time Chambers dismissed him, Aiden had produced twenty-seven eggs, twenty-five of which were clearly fertilized.

Roscow was not pleased. “This puts us behind,” he said, frowning at beige eggs. “These things have no value.”

The two white eggs were picked up by farm hands, but to Aiden’s horror, the beige ones were left with him in his quarters. What was he supposed to do with those? He curled up in bed trying his best not to think about it. And then he climbed up to lay again, and to his dismay, it was another beige egg.

It wasn’t until that evening until Aiden produced a pure white egg again. He sighed in relief. He was back on track, and would soon return to the farmer’s good graces.

Chambers departed the farm without so much as inquiring about the eggs he had fertilized. If he had actually ended up working out a business deal with Roscow, Aiden was not told. As far as Aiden could tell, Chambers was just some rich heir taking advantage of his social status for a week of decadence on Roscow’s dime.

Aiden sat down in the cafeteria that evening, ignoring the commiserating looks he received from the other Layers. It wasn’t as though Chambers had been cruel, just strange, and…aloof to the dilemma he had left Aiden with. He was stuck with twenty-eight fertilized egg. Twenty-eight children.

Just as Aiden moved his fork towards his tray, a farm worker swooped in from nowhere, and halted him.

“Layer 9-6-C,” said the worker, removing the tray, to Aiden’s surprise. “Your dosage of induction hormone has been increased to help you catch up with this month’s quota.” He lowered a new tray in front of Aiden. The food looked virtually the same.

“Increased?” said Aiden with a frown. “By how much?”

“Doubled.”

With that, the worker marched off before Aiden could protest further. The other Layers gave him encouraging smiles and shrugs. With a sigh, Aiden dug into his food. He cringed when he encountered a chemical taste, not subtle but blatant now.

After dinner, Aiden went back to his quarters and immediately crawled into bed. The increased dose of hormone was taking a lot out of him. It had been the same way when he had first come to the farm and acclimated to his original dose. He curled up and closed his eyes. It was almost strange now not to have Chambers wrapped behind him, but Aiden fell asleep all the same.

-

When Aiden awoke the next morning, the sun was high in the skin, the roosters screeching oppressively outside his window. He blinked several times as his vision focused and he realized that he had not awoken to lay during the night, as he usually did. He began to sit up, but grunted in discomfort, and sunk back down.

He slid his hands over his stomach. “Oh…” he breathed. A small belly was stretching out his shirt.

Aiden got up carefully, and surveyed himself, cupping his gut. He was suffering from some sort of egg-congestion. He knew the increased hormone had been a bad idea. He looked as though he was actually pregnant. He supposed in a way he was.

He continued to rub the uncomfortably tight mass. He made his way over to the nest, gently shoving the beige eggs to the corners. He ignoring the fact that they now seemed to radiate warmth now. Lightly shaking his head, Aiden squatted down.

-

Aiden had thought that the increased output would be easy—that he’d just have to produce the eggs a little more frequently. However that didn’t seem to be the case. The sudden change to his system had caused a sort of egg-constipation. He belched slightly as he made his way to the cafeteria.

His belly was just as bloated by the time he had been called for breakfast, even though he had managed to lay two white eggs. He suspected that during his strain, he had probably developed two more. He would just have to catch up before he got even more backed-up. At least this wouldn’t go on for more than a few days.

His stomach bulged from the bottom of his shirt which had fit him so exactly until that day. Aiden eased himself carefully down into his seat at the breakfast table. The eggs were fragile after all. He dug into his porridge and was against assaulted by a potent chemical taste. He scowled, and looked around at the other Layers, each of whom were staring at him.

“What is it?” he asked them.

“Aiden, your stomach…” said Sarah.

Aiden absently rested his hand against his gut. He looked as though he was five months with a live one. “Catching up, remember?” he said wryly. “The increased number is a little trickier to handle, but, it’s temporary, so…” He shrugged.

But Fred looked concerned. “Aiden—what if this sets a precedent?”

“Trust me, even they can see this isn’t a good idea. Five really is the max. I’ve hardly been able to handle this.” In fact, he wasn’t handling it all. He covered another belch.

The others returned to their food, and the table fell silent. Aiden enjoyed it, trying to relax in the wake of his recent trials. He heard the double doors to the cafeteria burst open, but didn’t think much of it, not until the room was consumed with murmurs. Aiden looked up.

He felt himself blanch.

Dean Chambers was back.
