Happy Feb! Let's celebrate with this piece that took the absolute spirit and soul out of my body. "I'll never draw flowers again" she said...

This was honestly so much fun and I was super grateful to the person who commissioned it - who wanted it as a counterpart to my "Daughter of Pulse" piece I made about 4 years ago. It's so neat to see the skill leap, particularly in my lighting and brush technique.

As much as FFXIII is not a personal favourite, Lightning and Fang absolutely are some of my top characters, so it's been a huge honor to get to paint them. Perhaps I'll give the Fang piece a spruce up and add it alongside this one into the StarStickers print shop... <.<
