Update // Current ongoings (Patreon)

Hello everyone. If you're in the discord, you may have already seen this update, but as some of you are not in there or may have it muted, I thought I'd make it public here as well.

Nearly two weeks ago, my dog had to go through some pretty traumatic surgery. This has kept us largely on our feet as we tried to take care of her and  help her recovery.

Unfortunately, more issues cropped it in the aftermath - we had to take her back to emergencies as she kept being sick and it turns out she has a resurgence of pancreatitis, for which she has had to be hospitalised for the weekend.

I won't lie - the stress of it all, paired with the worry, the lack of sleep, loss of routine, the creeping costs and generally eating poorly for days has my partner and I in a dire mental and physical state. We've both been trying to power through life as if things were normal, but the honest truth is that they're not and so in recognition of that I'm going to be setting a few things back to give ourselves some space to breathe.  

To start with, let me make it clear that everything that was happening this month will still be happening - just later than expected. This includes commissions, rewards and lessons.  

Commissions - I had planned to post the information this week and then set the opening date to the 15th of April. I am setting this back by at least a week now so the opening date will be closer to the end of the month. Information on how the process will go will hopefully be posted early in April. That being said, please be aware that if you intend to apply for commissions you must have been a patron from at least this month to be eligible.

StarStickers rewards - while availability normally opens on the 1st and 2nd of the month, I am postponing this to the following week - probably no later than the 8th. With my current levels of preocupation, I will simply not be around to handle allocations, DMs or enquiries and I'd rather not have that concern on my shoulders while I'm already dealing with everything else. Once things clear up a little I will make a post giving a better estimate of when the actual opening will happen.  

Lessons - I have unfortunately had to postpone quite a few lessons recently due to emergencies or the ongoing situation. Just like the above, these will be rescheduled as soon as we're in the clear. If your lesson has been postponed, I will contact you via DM. As for April lessons, the calendar with slots will be published as soon as I know what the month is going to look like pending more information on the dog's status.  

I am truly sorry and eternally grateful for everyone's patience with me the last few weeks (months?). 2022 has not been easy in the slightest, but I do believe the sun will roll back around soon enough. In the meantime, your kindness and support is keeping both of us afloat.
