Updates // Ding dong, January is dead! (Patreon)

Let’s face it, we say “Happy New Year!” but nobody’s ever happy to see January. It’s cold, it’s wet and it’s just kinda like that weird guy who stares at you a little too long on the bus (haha, remember when we had to suffer public transport? yeah…Q_Q). But the good news is - it’s over, it’s gone and it’s February now, which is kinda the same but rebranded with slightly longer days, so we like him better.

Anyways, now that I’ve gotten that out of my chest, here’s a few updates for this month:

Road to 200

So after 3 years in the making, this wee artist is almost at 200 patrons. Part of me still wakes up every day and tells herself “lol u still dreemin”, but nope - it’s true, we here. And this is all thanks to you, despite what a ballache the last year and some has been and I don’t have enough words to say thank you.

Because we’re so close to that magical number, I want to push a little harder to get over the hill and so once again I’m encouraging everyone to lure a friend, or two, or twenty in exchange for some sexy bonus points on StarStickers. So with that, for the whole of February, both you and any friend you bring will get triple points of any tier they sign up to (i.e, if they sign up to the 10 tier, you will both get 20 points on top of your monthly allocation).

And of course there might be an extra bonus for everyone once we roll over 200, because I’m a giver.

New Extreme tier spaces

By (more) popular demand, I will be creating 5 more Extreme tier spaces, pushing the total up to 20. This will be the last increase to this tier, which gives 50 StarStickers points a month, plus a choice of either a mailed reward (including an exclusive merch bundle - such as prints, stickers or original sketches) or a bonus amount of points every 8 months, so if you’re interested in a spot make sure you nab it quick! These will be going out from tomorrow.

State of commissions

I know many of you have questions about where I am with my commission work and expectations, and though I tried my best to provide links to my workflow and queue last year, the lack of organisational tools on Patreon makes it a pain to keep this somewhere obvious.

With that said, I will be making a longer post to explain where I’m at with things, what to expect going forward and how I’ve been handling things/considering future openings. It’s something I’ve had to think about a lot, as the year since I last opened has not been easy by any stretch of the imagination and I want to talk a bit about that, as well as hear your input on this particular subject, so it will come in its own post later on this week.
