Checking in + reminders (Patreon)

Hi my lovelies,

How are you all holding up? I know times are only getting more confusing and stressful as we come into the summer and I feel this is having some serious impact on everyone I speak to. Which then also makes me realise how important it is to touch base with people and let them express how they're feeling- as I think a lot of us are living in that loop of "well everyone else is going through it too" and forget how important it is to get things off our chest, regardless of whether it's the same issue someone else is going through.

So please, please do use the comment section to vent or just comment on how things are going for you. I'll do my best to read and reply to everyone!

Having said that, I also want to throw a few reminders/updates your way:

The Artroom Lifestream

A while ago I made this post regarding a fund I started to support and give back to any of my patrons going through a difficult time because of the pandemic. 

This fund is still running and available to anyone who needs the help, as I know this is when things are starting to get dodgy for a lot of us!

The fund has helped a few people and is currently standing at 800$ - so if you need the help, please ask!

Whether you need help paying a bill, rent, buying essentials or even maintaining your sanity via subs to entertainment or learning platforms (such as my own Patreon), as well as any other basic need not listed here, you are welcome to ask for the support. 

As it is a small fund for now, donations will be capped at a max of 75$ per person (ie, 14~ donations). 

To request the help, please email me at artroom.lifestream@gmail.com with your Patreon/Discord username and situation. I’ll do my best to assess this and get back to you within 1-2 days of your message.

The new rewards store is live and running! If you haven't signed up yet, hurry and go do so, as I will be opening the shop from today to take bookings for the next three months!

If you were a patron before June, you should have a DM with a link. If not, feel free to message me and I'll gladly send you the URL.

Please bear in mind that slots for illustrated rewards will be limited on launch. This is just to make sure that I don't accidentally overbook myself while also getting through a heavy comms list.  I can adjust the slots manually to make more available later, so please keep an eye on the Discord to see if that's happening!

Lastly, remember that we have a lovely Discord community that is incredibly supportive and welcoming of everyone. I don't say it lightly when I admit it's one of the warmest and non-toxic environments I have the privilege to be in.

These days it's important to feel connected and like someone out there is listening, so if you haven't joined us yet, please don't hesitate to come along! To connect your account, just go through here and attach your discord ID to your Patreon ID, then join the server through the list Patreon will give you. That way the bot will pull you in with your fancy tier color.
