Thanks for the chapter! Will Viv pick up a second affinity now that she is out of the deadlands or does she stay pure black? If I remember correctly there was something about getting an affinity based on the enviroment within the first year after being 'born'.

I think her black mana attunement reached 100% while wandering through the deadlands, I think she'll stay a pure black mana-attuned witch, hence her 2 and 1/2 life-expectancy predicted by Solfis (or was that because of her injured soul? I seem to remember he mentioned the risk for her to turn part elemental if nothing was done)

What Pierre said. She can only cast black spells, color-wise. On the other hand, they are incredibly enhanced.
