WHAT A FINALE!!  Had no idea how they'd bring this one in, but it turned out to be one of the MOST striking, rich, & memorable entries of any MCU story to date.  So imaginative, so beautiful, so somber.  DEFINITELY going to be thinking about this one for many moons to come... what'd you guys think??

Loki 2x6 | Season 2 Finalé - WATCH ALONG

I'm not sure if you guys noticed, but the picture of that Kang Variant they "dealt with" was the exact one from Quantumania. His picture where he posed blasting the two lasers was there, just turned to the side, making it a little tough to spot immediately in first viewing. It was really cool how they brought everything really full circle, in literally so many ways. It was very touching that Loki has now arrived where Thor and Odin did. In Infinity War, Loki would do virtuous things, but in return for the adoration and worship of those around him. Now Loki has arrived at a place of such selflessness, protecting those he loves and wanting to keep people safe, at the cost of him being completely alone, which he said he feared. Lokis horns were also designed in the same style of He Who Remains' Citadel. The black stone with the veins of gold running through it. I didn't think Loki was at the beginning of time, but rather the end. I thought he basically replaced him. Because that was also the same crater and the remains of the Citadel that he traveled to. The Loom is destroyed, so He Who Remains' plan was ruined. Loki risks the war now, but the TVA survived, and now they are keeping track of Kang Variants. Loki is giving them that fighting chance, he's being a better version of He Who Remains. Another really awesome detail you may have missed is the name of the episode. It's called Glorious Purpose, but we have seen that title before. The first episode of season 1 is also called Glorious Purpose. Everything in a literal sense has become an Ouroborous and its damn perfect 😂

I definitely cried a couple of times. Seeing Loki so alone but what a beautiful episode.
