FINALLY getting around to this cop land classic and it DOES NOT disappoint!  I don't use the word "electrifying" a lot, but Denzel is certainly electric, and Ethan Hawke is so poised as his counterweight.  That + some KILLER writing & direction from David Ayer & Antoine Fuqua, and a host of character actors, this was really something special.  When did you first see it??
