I'm bit behind, so catching up this week. I really appreciate that you note the continual deficiencies in the formula and structure of the writing of this era. While this series is better on the whole in a number of obvious ways. The scattergun approach towards the interconnected plot elements, which does lend itself more to this miniseries. It's still often all over the place pacing wise. As you've posted next week's now, I'm fairly sure you will have liked that one more.
