My initial reaction post-episode was that it was… okay. I enjoyed it, but it felt like it happened a bit too fast and underwhelmed me- a couple directing moments also threw me off (namely Gideon fighting Din hand-to-hand the whole time, only to reveal he had an OP staff the whole time when he fights Bo). I enjoyed it overall but felt like an extra 10-15 minutes could’ve fleshed some moments out longer and perhaps made them more meaningful. Like, seeing the mythosaur again was cool, but the scene felt weird to me. Maybe it was the FX, maybe it was the way it was shot/edited

Loved season 3 finale! Episode 4 and episode 8 are my favorite episodes this season. Really good season felt like a movie at times.

Felt like an episode ripped straight out of rebels but that comes with good and bad. On one hand the action was amazing and I think some of the best action was in epis 7 and 8 but the story definitely could’ve breathed a bit more or allowed for more emotion, grogu using the force was cool but like you guys said we’ve seen it before so the weight of it is kinda lost. The season was super disconnected and we didn’t have a real villain until ep 7. I wish they planted more seeds to make it really feel like Gideons fingerprints were all over the season but it never felt that way at all. The whole of season 3 felt like a season of rebels, great episodes scattered here and there and not a lot of satisfaction to finish it. I’m curious to see what a binge of the season would feel like, I’d argue better but maybe that’s just me. I’d love to hear more thoughts on the season as a whole after you guys have time to sit with it more. Maybe a spoiler livestream?

is Kylo Ren that kid. the adopted son of the dead mandalorian whos ancestors created the dark saber and also had jedi jeans, even tho solo is still alive LOL, kuz grogu was just adopted when his parents could still be alive. also that kid has long black hair and was oddly over focused through this show. Kylo ren grew up with adopted mandalorians now that would be a crazy mad out of this world hidden thing. lol :P i know its most def not, but the fact that im reaching or straws shows how much more they could have gave us to think about. I am still favoring this show tho and enjoyed this season for sure. Even without all of the emotion.
