Ashley Johnson, the original Ellie from the games, playing Ellie's mother is my favorite thing ever. I love her so much, and John, I just love that you called her out as looking like Ellie. And your guitar playing was lovely, far better than I could ever do lol did you decorate your pick guard for the occasion or is that how you've always had it? Because it's pretty perfect, I don't want to spoil anything but Greg should know what I mean. Tara, your butter lettuce head is perfect, I appreciate your dedication to the bit lol when your little green screen cape changed to Pedro's face, I was cackling lol I'm so glad you both enjoyed this season so much, I'm vey excited for you to see where this story goes!

The Last of Us journey with the both of you was such a treat! We def need more Tara and John things ❤️

Props to Tara keeping the lettuce on the whole time lol. This was definitely a heavy episode that begs the question of “what would I do” in that situation. You also see Joel’s deeply human self in all the choices he makes here. There were such touching moments between them and I loved seeing the parallels of Ellie in this episode and Sarah in the first. His deep trauma is finally surfacing to a point he can’t ignore it, and he is NOT willing to be in the same position he was before of being alone again.

John - "That's not a bad guess....let me have this moment, Tara! Geez! Don't bring the circle of life into this!" 🤣🤣🤣 Video ends. Tara - " Oh my...this show freaking kills me dude." John - " Yea, absolutely." Slight pause. "Well, Tara it's been nice but I'm gonna have to finish you off now." Tara - Plucks a piece of lettuce. " Here, you wanna bite?" 🤣🤣🤣 Oh, damn...I'm gonna miss these reactions so much! You asked for the love so get ready, here it comes! You guys have been a light in my darkness with these reactions. Truly a dynamic duo of joy and awesomeness 🥰 Thank you for all the laughs along this journey. My view of butter lettuce is forever changed 🤣 Thanks for coming suited up in your lettuce head, Tara. The images on the green sheet were pure gold, I was dying lol! And thank you John for putting in the time to practice the intro on your guitar just for us. Your efforts do not go unnoticed. Much love to you guys. As for the episode, wow oh wow. I mean from the purity of the moment with the giraffe and Joel's emotional moment basically telling Ellie she was the one that helped heal him to the hauntingness of his tunnel vision in the hospital scene and his lying till the end...I am still trying to process the complexities that unfolded here. What a fucking journey and damn do they know how to tell a story man. I'm still beside myself that this is a video game. I never would have thought going into this show that I would be so emotionally attached to these characters. As a non gamer I can't wait to see what's to come, although I'm pretty sure I can count on my heart being broken 😂 Loved your thoughts at the end. And I too feel like I need a nap haha!
