2 more episodes to go! Super sad this is almost over. So for the Giant Mechasuit, it was hinted at not what they were building, but how they built it. The Mecha suit is made of the Platinum domes from Zaofu. That's where the hint of Kuvira saying to tear down the domes went. So its an unbendable metal and very durable. So it kind of came out of nowhere, but it wasn't forced, as there was a hint of how it could be done. Some people had a big problem with it cause they missed that connection and think it was forced. But in The Last Airbender show, they literally built a giant metal Drill to burrow into Ba Sing Se. So its not so crazy that they could take Mecha suits, and build a big one with that amount of metal. So President Raiko does serve a purpose, the Council does not exist anymore. It's a democratic society, like ours as well. The Council was eradicated because they were all benders, the solution to Amons villainy and protest was the Presidents appointment. Presidents do (or rather, "can") heavily contribute to the leading and running of a nation. Kennedy for example, was a huge advocate for change and while there were scandals, he did move for good progression, until we killed him for it 😅 Bataar had some moment with his dad in episode 6 about how he lives in his father's shadow. So I think it's daddy issues, more than mommy issues. Maybe both, but he didn't feel important enough. In fact, the very first time we see Bataar was stumbling behind his father when we met him briefly in Book 3, episode 5, our first introduction to Zaofu. So he's possibly always felt he was nothing more than some assistant to his dad's greatness, while maybe having his own ideas that were never paid attention to. Also, I'd love to have John watch Avatar. 🤣Maybe if you don't watch it with him, he could watch it solo. I'll just leave you to your devices about Kuvira and Korras visions but I think it's fairly obvious what it was 😅 Can't wait for next week guys!

Yeah this show always loses me when they build a Death Star.
