My favorite part of the episode was the Pet Peeves section 😆

Earthbending is really cool, Greg I admit. I love airbending the best for me, but all the elements really do feel good in the animation with fight scenes. I'm just constantly impressed with these shows and their fighting. It's so fast paced, but not without you feeling the impact of every single movement. Its so incredible. I hear what you mean about it feeling like an ending. That's another consequence of the first three seasons not being very connected to each other. But season 3 and 4 have had an overarching story with Korra herself, so I think how it comes to a close will hopefully feel satisfying in the finale. Bataar seems more like a petty villain. More that he loves Kuvira, but he really wants to spite his family, mainly his father and mother. He's definitely more humane since he didn't want to hurt his sister. I definitely understood the spirits and why they didn't want to help. They are not obligated to assist Korra or humans just because they live there, and especially not a war. Korra made a lot of sense as well, and her diplomatic skills really have improved and its great to see her being more peaceful. But there's a dark history dating all the way back to the time of Avatar Wan between humans and spirits. Humans cause lots of problems, so I can't blame the spirits for wanting to steer clear of their personal conflicts. Kuvira doesn't feel too one note to me, it's just that she is getting more devious and less noble. But because episode 8 was a recap and not a Kuvira origin like it was originally planned, that also might have impacted her behavior feeling more one note. If we had a backstory, it might not have felt that way. Zhu Li is pronounced like Zhao. Not J or Z, but both. Zhao is from The Last Airbender. So pronounce Zhu Li how you pronounce Zhao. Technically, Wan was a fire avatar first, yeah he was nothing, but fire was the first element he learned and mastered. I do hope the ending feels satisfying for you guys! See you next week!
