Amazing reaction!! I'm actually so glad that you forgot the name Touya at first because it made your realization so much better! This was the other of the two moments that I was waiting for in this arc and they executed it perfectly!! I love both of your analysis of what this will do to hero society because you are absolutely right that it will shake everything up. They put it really well by saying that it doesn't matter if it's true because as long as people have doubt, especially with the amount of destruction that the heroes couldn't prevent, it will fundamentally change how people view heroes. Yes, Touya's identity was planned out the whole time! The first time we see him he's actually standing outside of a hair salon. It's really incredible because like you said this is such a philosophical situation with Endevour not being being heroic before and did his actions cause Touya do do the things he did or was that Touya's own choices? In my opinion the Todoroki family is really one of the core storylines in the show and to have it connect together with the villians in this way just makes everything so much more dynamic and engaging. One of my favourite things that Horokoshi has done is use the Todoroki siblings to show different responses to trauma with Shoto being willing to try and reconcile but still apprehensive, Fuyumi wanting to ignore everything and pretend they're a happy family, Natsu wanting nothing to do with the situation, and Touya wanting to get revenge and tear everything apart! It's such a fantastic way to explore trauma and how you move on from trauma and the slow build to it is incredible!! Fun fact Dabi's voice actor said that he was so excited for this episode because he was able to let out everything he's been holding back with this character so far so I'm so glad you pointed out his performance because he really did do an incredible job!!
