I want to tell you something incredibly interesting about this episode, because I'm sure there was some chatter going on at the time. Unfortunately, I have completely forgotten! So there you go - my most uninformative comment in my history of comments 😂😂😂😂

Dan

Hate this episode

Another Chibnall episode that feels like it should have been a two parter as the resolution is kinda meh. Let's see what the guys think.

I actually really like this episode! The plot itself is pretty rushed and surface level, but the character moments are really special to me. Glad to see you generally enjoyed those parts as well!

And how's that Chibnall's fault? Do you just wake up and blame everything on him? Jeez!

Dan

To be fair, everything bad that's ever happened to mankind; all the famine, disease, natural disasters, human failings, and anything catastrophic bound to happen in the future, are probably Chibnall's fault, and a result of his god awful writing. He's that much of a hack. The ripple effect is huge.

Interesting the info Rosie provided on how the actor playing the Shakri didn't cooperate and thus ruining the ending. Too bad as I do like the story, it's one of my favs from Chibnall, except the resolution. Speaking of which, my goodness are some people ultra defensive of Mr Chibnall's contributions to WHO. The brits call it "techy". For me, I prefer his writing more than his production.
