Another real fun episode! A fan favorite as well, and a real fresh new way to start the season. Love Cary Elwes as Despereaux, as always Psych succeeded at the guest casting. One other thing I have to say, if I ever get a chance to visit Vancouver, my goal is to visit many of this Psych (and some other shows) filming locations, and on the top of that list is the Capilano Suspension Bridge, that last scene from the ep. on that bridge is mesmerising to me and I hope I can experience it in person. 🍍 Pineapple was an inflated pineapple balloon behind that mime/clown. You'll get that streak started again, don't worry! And it's funny you said "a dimond pineapple"😂, cause next ep. it will have something of the sorts, clue: pineappleS are at a place that Shawn admires, and at a place that Shawn steals something. Fun tidbits: You mentioned that you recognise the owner from the first crime scene, and you are right! he was in a previous Psych ep., in S2E7 the one with the 30yo going at a school for brilliant kids, he was one of the professors Shawn & Gus did carpool; and the restaurant manager that was upset about the napkins played a hotel attendant in S2E3. Also Gus mentions how they solved 47 cases before, and there were exactly 47 ep. prior to this one.

Oh, I will fucking spoil it because I have talked about my favorite reoccurring guest star coming up in the past. That's right, Despereaux will be back baby! He's such a fun character. You have already seen my second favorite reoccurring character. Some lovely repeat players. The upcoming daylight savings time change will cause me to be inside more so I will be back to vexing your Psych comment section again. You have one week to prepare.

Eric Lane

Such a fun cameo by Cary Elwes. You are going to see a lot of great guest cameos this season and in upcoming seasons. Flev mentioned a couple of recycled actors. But he forgot to mention that Macintosh was from S01E03 which was the Wedding and stolen ring episode. He was the hotel desk clerk who was "assisting" undercover Interpol Shawn.
