Honesty, rewatching the show with you all, I kind of wish this HAD been Amy and Rory's end, or at least this was *how* it should've ended for them. The ending we got still frustrates me to this day.

I agree that the editing was a little too frantic, but while this episode's setting involved fear , I don't think it was supposed to make the viewer afraid.

I've always enjoyed this episode with it's weirdness and fine supporting cast. And I also appreciate that they addressed the really dangers the companions go through with each adventure. But it also means Amy and Rory are not in the Tardis and the Doctor once again is traveling alone. And that just so sad.

Yeah, I’ve never thought this episode was about making the viewer scared. It was just about playing on people most unreasonable fears. Even though we may think, how are you scared of puppets, there are people who are genuinely afraid of them, hell there are people who are scared about seeing dots too close together 🤷🏻‍♀️

Since yall are past Amy and Rory's last episode, I can say this without worrying about spoilers but looking back on that line about The Doctor standing over their graves at the end just tore me apart.
