I remember when this episode aired and me getting SO hype about the world building they dropped out of nowhere. I mean this is big stuff, and I hadn't gotten this excited about the world of Supernatural in a while. Everything had been pretty established. You of course always find out about new supernatural beings and threats as things move forward, but to find out about a whole new order in this world aside from Hunters was so cool. As for Abaddon, while she is kind of striagt forward to me this was also the first time in a long time a demon felt intimidating again. You can right away see she's no ordinary demon. The Men of Letters chanted the Exorcism ritual and it didn't affect her, and when she get's stabbed an is only stunned by the demon knife I was immediately sucked in. I was like "way a minute an ACTUAL threatening demon what is she!?" So to me it was a perfect one-two punch of "there's more than Hunters in this world and there' more to demons in this world that you thought you knew." I'm curious as to how you will enjoy next episode, which I really like but there's a part some people find a bit silly LOL

Simply Faded

This is the episode that got me back into supernatural after a year hiatus (I stopped season 7 when Bobby died). I actually watch this one when it aired and thought the new elements were cool.

This is really late, but why does everyone think that guy is actually 100+ years old? They do realize that the age is based on the identity he stole not his real age right?
