Welcome aboard the Zuko train Olivia! I'm glad you both liked this episode. I remember having a slumber party with friends from school to watch this and the final episodes and it was so much fun.

Interesting note, not sure if you caught Zuko mentioning how Iroh was actually a father to him, but his channeling lightning goes back to him learning how to redirect it from Iroh. Iroh mentioned that to create and channel lightning, a person has to be emotionally balanced, neutral, any inner turmoil causes the lightning to blow up in your face. That happened to Zuko repeatedly when he was conflicted, but his success in this episode indicate that he's really come to peace with his past, and accepted his role in things to come. The growth we were desperately waiting for, and right in time, or the lightning would've killed him.

War Minister Qin makes his third and final appearance in this episode. He was the character who told the group where to find the bunker. His first appearance was actually when he stole the prototype war ballon and his second was when he attacked Ba Sing Se with the Drill. I like the touch that he always close by when new technology appears.
