Love Dutch!! Back-to-back eps with some of my favorite secondary characters! Jeff Fahey is such a great casting, surprise surprise, Psych is great at casting, you can tell he had fun with this character but also could switch it to very heavy drama in that last scene. 🍍Pineapple was after Gus missed that dunk, a guy with a inflated pineapple tree walked by, and it literally dangled in their face for a few seconds.😜 Fun tidbit: Shawn made a Blue Thunder ref, the director of this ep. John Badham directed Blue Thunder! Also when Shawn said that he read the lips of the agent and said "purple camel lawnmower man", that was a ref to Jeff Fahey's The Lawnmower Man.

I asked you in a live stream what scenario you wanted to see on Psych, and you said carnival. I knew this one coming up was sort of a carnival setting. I gotta say I was a little surprised during that Dutch and Shawn conversation when I saw you getting emotional. Amazing how this silly little show can tug at the heart strings. Pretty sure that may happen at least once more this season. Now for a fun game in the future. When Chief Vick is talking, close your eyes and picture Ellen DeGeneres. It is a perfect voice match. Still some more great guest stars this season. Glad your enjoying it John.

My heart sank when they got to the life insurance. In tv world, attempted murder is thrilling, and sacrificing yourself so your family has a windfall is heartbreaking.

What the hell? You can't start talking to yourself and then disappear.
