Yes!! This episode was much anticipated on my part! I love the expansion of the vestige world. And there was a bit of a subtitle error, so I will explain a bit keeping it spoiler free....Midoriya is actually going to inherit 6 more total quirks (this includes blackwhip), not 8. The 1st user (AFO’s lil bro) - originated the “pass-on”/ stockpile quirk known as OFA. Deku already has this. He is predicted to get all of these: 2nd user’s quirk 3rd user’s quirk 4th user’s quirk 5th user’s quirk (Blackwhip, manifested in this ep) 6th user’s quirk 7th (Nana Shimura) user’s quirk All Might was the 8th user, but since he was quirkless, he cultivated super strength and that’s what was passed down to Midoriya. And at the beginning, Monoma actually says “To become heroes, we must act unheroically.” Meaning, Shinso had to resort to insults in order to get a response to use his power. He wants to use the brainwash power to save people, but to use it, sometimes he has to be mean or deceitful. Monoma relates since his quirk is essentially stealing from others. Great against villains, but it can easily go in a bad direction if he were to use it on other heroes. Great reaction! Glad you guys enjoyed it!
