The look on your face during the singing competition auditions was pretty funny. A mix of indifference and yet disgust. An interesting combo. I thought James Roday Rodriguez started writing Psych episodes before he was directing them. I think his directing starts later in the series. If I'm wrong can a knowledgeable fan explain? You've seen krumping. It is done during dance battles. Lots of stomps and chest pops.

Very funny episode, Love Tim Curry! I can watch an 1h of this character just insulting people.😂 They did a great job of doing a parody ep, but not hit you over the head with it, like they still did their best character work all at the same time poking fun at all the talent show tropes. Last ep. and this ep was co-written by James Roday & Steve Franks, Roday's directorial debut comes later towards the end of S3. Yes the cowboy dude was also the robber from that ep, and also the host guy played a role in the speed dating ep, he was the 2nd naked guy who barely could hold the towel around his waist. Also a little note you might of missed, Kirsten Nelson (Chief Vick) got a main cast credit this season so we'll see her more, and as such other supporting characters will be introduced, and one thing about the show is that it will always try to fresh up the cast with new interesting characters.

Ok so several things, least of which is that this is one of my all time favorite eps! So the actor playing Zappato is in fact the Pollo Loco guy, hence the joke. Throughout season one Shawn does the Tim Curry 'noo'. This is the first episode where Gus' car is called a 'Blueberry'. The actor playing Lester was previously the 2nd naked guy in the leprechaun/alien episode. He turns into a kind of 'spot that actor' in the show.
