Noice! A truly awesome season of television!

The structure of the pods for this season was brilliant. I really appreciated a change of pace from two-part structure of season part A (1-11) and season part B (12-22). As for the Darkhold, Ghost Rider takes it to the Dark Dimension, where Dormammu and Morgan le Fay are trapped. Morgan is able to get her hands on it through unknown means and takes it to Earth in season 3 of Runaways.

Season 4 was just perfect all the way through and many still regard it as peak shield. Next is Season 5 which at the time of its creation the writers believed it would be the final season so there is a sense of finality to it even tho it really is not the end. They also took a serious budget cut. This episode also marks the end of agents of shield as you know it and crosses over into bigger concepts and as you saw that includes traveling in space. A bit of warning if possible can you avoid the thumbnails on Netflix episode 5x4 and 5x5 carry spoilers. I would advise you to not use Netflix until after those episodes

I agree that it would've been nice have had more of a battle between Aida and Ghost Rider, but the premise of her demise consisted of getting the drop on her with the Rider. She wouldn't have fought him she always just teleported away. So Coulson knew he had to grab her, and yeah that would be GG lol It feels a bit brief but at least it makes sense that once the Rider has her, he's going to kill her. Immediately. As for this amazing season, yes it is widely accepted as the best. It really raised the stakes when it comes to level of quality of the show, so it had to juggle those expectations with some budget cuts. But despite those budget constraints I'm pleased to report that season 5 is damn close in caliber. Maybe just a notch below season 4, but still a damn great ride and I can't wait for you to get into it! The premiere is a doozy. Hope you enjoy the new direction. Mark Kolpack who is the special effects supervisor for AoS really had his work cut out for him, but he's damn great. He is truly a CGI wiz and you'll see all the crazy effects he's capable of even on a reduce budget! He often shares the behind the scenes on twitter.

For some reason a lot of scenes in this episode were cut from the Disney+ version, made syncing up a real pain

This is an old message, but I'm replying for future visitors: This may depend on your country. It worked perfectly fine here in The Netherlands. There are some pretty gruesome shots in fight scenes that may have been cut for rating in certain countries.
