For a week we had to wait until we found out who the next Doctor was it was a media frenzy. Even bookies (Betting Shops) had odds on certain actors.

This episode is the 'Infinity War' of Doctor Who. Its so fast paced, there is sooo much crossover and self-reference. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Feige was a Doctor Who fan. A certain Spider-Man dusting is very David Tennant... Doctor Strange ending also seems very Doctor who

Honestly, for the entire week after this aired, whilst the country waited for the next one, everyone was freaking out. Everyone at school, all the teachers, everyone was talking about it and theorising. And FYI this came out before The Avengers. Doctor Who did it first! lol. This finale two (sort of three) parter was a British cultural phenomenon.

Also the catharsis we got with Harriet's last line. "YES WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE!" "You know nothing of any human" So perfect.

This was the peak of my childhood. Seeing all the shows crossover and all the names in the opening titles blew my mind. Doctor Who did Infinity War before Infinity War

This is such a climax of the first four seasons...bringing everyone in is such fun! Would love to see you guys either do watch-alongs or highlights only for Torchwood but if you just went and watched on your own, then did reactions for Season 3 that'd make me happy 😃

I remember everybody talking about this episode back at school. RTD managed to capture the attention of damn near everyone in the UK at the time and it was amazing to be a part of.

It wouldn't surprise me either, or maybe one of the other Executive Producers of Marvel Studios is. Christopher Eccleston was in Thor: The Dark World, David Tennant was in Jessica Jones (yes I know Feige didn't have a say in the netflix shows ), the actresses for both Amy and Clara have been in the MCU plus a certain Black Panther actor whose Doctor Who episode is coming soon.
