So fearful to say much for fear of inadvertently spoiling something. Glad to see that you are recognizing the nuance of the story telling going on here. You also noted that you've learned that AOS both progresses a story AND keep building on a foundation. This is very true. As has been said many times, everything, every episode that has ever occurred, all the way back to S1E1, matter. It's just a question of when and how we see the consequences. Also, as you move forward, you need to be aware of the real world time frame when these episodes aired. While I'm sure you will see the hidden agenda that is shaping up. It was very obvious at the time because of what was happening in the real world. You'll see. Just be aware that like the Transformers, there's more than meets the eye.

Also the Exploding Bullet in the Beginning is the same kind of Bullet used in Luke Cage.

Did you notice the weapon that was used at the beginning of the episode? The bullet burrowed into the podium. That was the same bullet used in season one of Luke Cage that dug into his skin.
