I’ve actually never watched the trailer for TLA and I love that you guys already pegged it as wrong even though you’re only halfway through book one! 😂 also I don’t hate this episode but I don’t mind it either. It makes me laugh and there’s a mini lesson to takeaway from it for the younger folk who watch it.

Yes. Probably the most decisive episode some fans don't like this episode some like it, in Avatar the last Airbender. But it will definitely give some of the best discussions. Now it's time for episode 12 and 13 hype. 12 and 13 are my favorite episodes of season 1, and have some of the best writings for an episode and best animation for season 1 until the finale of season 1.

Tbh I was originally hoping you might skip this one but I'm actually glad you guys enjoyed it. Oh yeah definitely looking forward to your reaction to the next episode. I've never seen the trailer for the movie so I'm relieved it didn't spoil you for the serise.

I think I read somewhere that this is the most disliked episode of the show. The explanation was that this was the episode that Nickelodeon played the most often since it stands alone and you don't need much background knowledge of the show to understand it, so, if an episode of Avatar was playing outside a new episode premiere, it was probably this one. So basically the audience watching at the time just got sick of it, as the replays magnified all the little things viewers didn't like about the episode. I don't know if that's true, but seeing that you both seemed to like this one more than the previous episode makes me inclined to believe it.

So existed for you to continue you AtLA adventure, and I became a patron for this series alone

I think this is one of the most devisive episode of the series because, with all the real life cultural allusions in the show, people get caught up in the fact that Aang lied to solve a very real problem that caused pain to people by simply saying the pain was not real just a game, which is a pretty questionable action. But people forget that now these two groups of people are not going to continue causing each other pain anymore, which is a good thing.

I think a lot of it is also the fact that Nickelodeon ran this episode so many times compared to the others
