I really liked this movie a lot. It was really ambitious how it intertwined traditional horror with more of a break up/female character empowerment . The cinematography is beautiful and the acting is top notch , especially Florence Pugh. Its also rare to see horror movie being shot in daylight for the most part , i think its adds another layer of dread if executed well. And just the violence , the gruesome imagery was really fucked up and shocking . Overall I would say a really great film that goes for more experimental , less safe approach as far as horror goes and while not always executes on every idea its just really remarkable how different as a horror film it is . I personally liked Hereditary a lot more, i thought while the concept was simpler and it did not have as ambitous themes , its much better executed . Its near flawless from start to finish and to me it was a lot scarier ,
