This season came out the same year as doctor strange. You already see the accords are now part of shield but the writers starting from this season to stray from direct tie ins to the movies and start doing thematic tie ins and eastereggs Doctor strange came out the same time as this season so Magic and Supernatural is the theme of this season and who better to bring then ghost rider. What I love about the show is they truly are a comic book spy show so they deal with all things Marvel we’ve had aliens, and rogue agents, people with powers and gods. Now it’s time for the devil and magic

You're here! This is easily my favorite season and frankly...it's not just because of Ghost Rider. Don't get me wrong I absolutely ADORE Robbie in this but there's so much I enjoyed that isn't even related to him. Even in this episode, I love a lot. The smooth transitions from scene to scene were fantastic. The way they shot and slow revealed Robbie. I love the way they showed Daisy's emotional fallout from S3. I like the way SHIELD feels lived in: Elena having a check up, how she has small talk with Davis, the clear impact from the Sokovia Accords. Plus, I enjoyed the rumblings of the Mack and Elena connection. Every season the show feels different and fresh. It's one of the things I love the most about AOS. Can't wait til you see more.
