Did you see who directed these two episodes? :) I’m loving the commentary so far. I’m glad you got to see some of the fight choreography in this episode too! And just to let it be known, I would die for Appa.

Ah I love the fighting styles in this show. I remember looking it up a long time ago for research and to practice animation. The firebenders were inspired by north shaolin and the airbenders were ba gua zhang. You can tell the difference by how straight forward and aggressive the firebenders were compared to Aang's more circular and defensive style. If you've ever watched the movie "One" with Jet Li, the protagonist and antagonist fought in ba gua zhang and xing yi (somewhat similar to the firebenders). Lol I love the uncle :) . Oh, and yes, Zabuza was pretty terrifying, but I liked him. Zuko...isn't as terrifying I guess lol but I love him too lol

Hey, not sure if you knew already but Zuko is voiced by Rufio from the movie Hook. I mean his actual name is Dante Basco but yeah, Rufio 🤩. Love how you’re both into it already. Good times, good times...
