All will become clear. The Sword of Akasha...I actually think conceptually it was a cool storyline but the execution was kind of lacking. It kind of reminds me of the Night King. The Night King threat was cool but let's be real we all want to see what happens when shit goes down I Kings Landing.

Basically the the Ragnarok Connection is a uniting of the dead and the living into a single consciousness. As to how that would work is unknown, however the consequences would be that reality would cease to exist. No one would die and conflicts would stop. This sets up a dreamlike world. There's a great quote saying that Charles wanted the past, Schneizel wants the present and Lelouch wants the Future.
