you can call Hamon, Ripple if that's easier to remember. I'm pretty sure the British colloquialisms that you reading in the subtitles are just part of the dub and not a direct translation of the voice actors are saying. For example in this epsiode baron zeppili clearly says a phrase in English and the netflix subs has it as an Italian phrase.

Ahh, good to know! Is there a direct correlation between the words, or more just a solid visual metaphor? I can't deny I'm vaguely fascinated with the state of this dub.. for whatever reason, having things take on a sort of trilingual dimension with his dialogue was sort of interesting/amusing to me haha. And I guess all the more-so if these aren't even the faithful translations 😅 All that said, though, we very much appreciate you sending the eps with the proper subs over 🙌 I have season 1 downloaded as of now, so unless something weird happens, expect to see that on the next one.
