To be honest, if I was alone with Captain Jack, drinking champagne during a blitz, I think I’d be swooning for him too...

I think the question of Rose's behaviour in this one is an interesting one. She appears to again have her head turned. But at the same time is gathering information on this charming stranger. Which she relays to The Doctor when they meet back up. Perhaps she has learnt to play on the naive teenager shtick whilst it actually being quite true about her at the same time.

First of the Stephen Moffat episodes. Most people agree that he wrote some of the Best Who episodes. They’re always a treat. I wonder if your reaction to Rose’s behaviour with Captain Jack is because you are guys. Most of the ladies understand! 😂😂😍 I won’t say more until next episode, though. And I just can’t with those English accents, guys! Nails on a blackboard would be more pleasant!

Captain Jack isn't a Timelord like the Doctor, he's a future Human that was once part of a military force that had access to what is considered "cheap and nasty" time travel, as basic as it gets. The Doctor is an alien from Gallifrey part of a race of beings that created and perfected Time Travel. and every time you do your English Accents a Peruvian Bear gets left at the Train station...

That’s a pretty interesting take, not bad! I suppose I can see that being at play in there - her collecting the info (given that this man IS another galactic traveler with crazy tech) while also enjoying the spoils while she’s at it. I’ll keep this in mind next episode n see how I feel haha.

Soon as we’ve got a blackboard, we’ll start using that instead 😂😝 I’ve definitely heard Stephen Moffat’s name thrown out A TON in regards to this show. Will definitely keep an eye out for his writing credits moving forward. As for Rose... I suppose this is possible haha. Hard to deny Jack’s relentless, boyish charm, good looks, space cowboy/Tom Cruise vibe 😅 maybe we just need one more episode to really get our swoons on...

to be honest i completely forgot how much of a ditz rose turned into in this once she met jack!! wow. yeah its weird, no knock on the actors tho its the writing. we get it, hes charming lol

Moffat (the guy who wrote this episode) never liked Rose because she’s lower class and “trashy” so he always does his best to characterize her that way. He’s in charge of some great episodes and stories in Doctor Who but not a great guy ultimately.
