Out of all 3 main characters , I personally gravitate towards Ray , due to his more morally ambigious nature and just more practical and realistic approach towards this whole situation . But i do think Norman and Emma are needed as far as group dynamic go, plot progression and so on. And Norman just tries to balance everything , lol , its probably the hardest position in the show as far as kids go. I do think Rays devilish look at points was a bit too over the top, It felt like the show wants us to believe how much of a bad guys Ray is or something .

2021-07-15 04:48:04 I can feel ya there. Ray has all that enigmatic intrigue and feels like he's got the most natural "street-smarts," so to speak. It makes an interesting contrast with Norman who seems just as clever, though perhaps more realistic. Norm seems like a good middle-ground energy to ground things between Ray & Emma, but yeah haha, right now I also find Ray most intriguing. As for the devilish expressions, I get ya. Wasn't exactly bothered by them (especially in the moment, just something about them read very amusingly to me, but looking objectively, it does venture out into a bit more overtly stylized territory with him. I wonder if it was mainly to play up the uncertainty of his position as the truth is initially revealed.. (although, again, that little moment cutting between Ray in the corridor & Norman in the sleeping quarters still has me wondering.. 🤔)
