Did you guys catch the line where the nen pupet guy misjudged Kurapika as a manipulator instead of a conjurer. Also Killua got the drip.

I think most people felt the way you guys feel. After hunter exam and heavens arena, all this kurapika stuff is edgier and darker and more thrilling, the change in tone completely feels fresh and more engaging. Also it's a lot more adult world now compared to gon and killua adventures. And gon alway brings that childish innocence whenever he's on screen. Also killua changes his clothing like a normal human being. Gon is in the same outfit as he was in ep 1, lol. it's nice to see when kurapika and the gang are just competent and can handle shit. They aren't surprised by, well, surprises. Lol

2021-07-15 04:48:16 Haha I hope that doesn't make us too basic 😅but yeah, it is nice to get that intrigue going again & see a new part of the world. And now that we know reasonably well what nen is, it feels a little more natural the way Kurapika's stuff is moving.. LOL I dunno why I'm tickled by that so much, but also good to know. I s'pose I'll get used to Killua having an actual wardrobe 😂 I think that's neat, though, generally - the way the sensibility can sorta change with the age/position of the characters. Gon/Killua being the lighter adventures, whereas now we're with Kurapika doing some serious underground shit... and I guess I hadn't focally put my finger on that, but it is kinda nice to see Kurapika & co. just handling business on their way into... whatever craziness this auction has in store.. 😅

Still puzzled at you saying how Gon was constantly miraculously succeeding with Nen. Gon fought 4 battles at Heavens Arena. He won 2, and lost the other 2 very emphatically. He is very strong and heals quickly. That matches his nature as an enhancer (which goes with what Wing said about both what you acquire genetically and by upbringing). By contrast, Killua had zero losses (because, unlike Gon, he didn't jump the gun or fight someone way beyond his capabilities). And now we see that Kurapika too has obtained serious skills. Maybe even more than Killua and Gon (And yes, I know you probably won't see these comments as they are too far back, or even remember what you were saying that I am commenting on, but I still enjoy expressing my thoughts!).
