Yep. You both are right. After the build up, of meeting Adam, it just ends without ever really getting to know him. Another cursed Winchester. Like Dean said, Adam would just get caught up in something supernatural that’s trying to use or kill him. I feel like the writers had this great idea with Adam’s existence then unfortunately, for us fans, boxed him up and forgot about it.

One of the main things that disappoint me as a fan is that it's a network show. They can show alot of blood and gore but god forbid they utter a swear word other than "Bitch" or show nudity. In my opinion it would have been so much better as a TV-MA. I feel the same way about TWD. I know things work alot differently in the States, but how do you guys feel about it?

2021-07-15 04:52:46 That's how it kinda read here. Seems like they could've done more with it, or even left it in a way where he still dies, or they just part ways, etc. Something didn't feel quite natural about it introduces & quickly deals with Adam, but there's still a lot of good character stuff for S&D to chew on. Thanks for watchin' along!!

2021-07-15 04:52:46 I think we can definitely feel where you're coming from. For us, I wouldn't say that it's hindered our enjoyment of the show any, but especially for horror shows, I can see why that'd be a disappointment for some people. Not always, but I do feel like this show does get away with some pretty nasty, at times decently-graphic gore gags. And although Dean does call a fair amount of people "bitch" across the episodes we've seen so far, it's hard to deny a freer rating would make room for more realistic language. Funny enough, while we didn't love the Ghostfacers episode as a whole, I remember appreciating that Sam & Dean were finally able to swear & speak more off-the-cuff since they were being bleeped. As for TWD, I've never really found myself feeling remiss for gore gags n stuff like that. The language & obviously the romance stuff could always be more graphic, I'm sure, but when the show was on its game, I didn't miss it too much. I think the swearing is probably the most distracting in these scenarios, though.
